Comparing the state of supply chain management in hospitals today to how it was 10 – 15 years ago, makes it clear the industry has done tremendous work in reducing costs.  While progress has been made, there is still much work to be done.

For example, a recent industry report indicates there is an estimated $25 billion being unnecessarily spent in supply chain in hospitals throughout the U.S.
